“ Wow wow wow and I even got to meet the owner! Gluten-free Everything! Amazing and delicious! After 20 years of being gluten-free, this is hands down my favorite gluten free place! I had to have as much as my stomach could take! Dill fried pickles are so delicious and I love the ranch dressing! Mozzarella cheese sticks are delicious....chunky marinara sauce but tasty reminds me of a no spice salsa, the onion rings are just chefs kiss! The burgers and breaded chicken sandwich are another must! And to top it off....the Mac n cheese , with gluten-free free bread crumbs! Wow! Just wow! If you get anything, get that!!!! Can't wait to come back and try more!!! Why can't these restaurants be everywhere!!! Actually more like... These gluten free, allergy friendly restaurants NEED to be everywhere!! ”
“ Absolutely amazing location!! Drove all the way from Chi-town!! Brought back plenty of great eats and their gluten free options make this a must go!!!! I had the BLT and chili cheese fries while we were there and I didn’t regret one second of it, or one bite!! Wonderful service all around!! From the kitchen to the counter!! Papa Chops has it on lock!! ”
“ Restaurant was clean. The waitstaff was helpful and patient as we had never been there before. The food was good; we ordered fries, two different wraps, a hog boss, a sandwich, and a burger. We also ordered onion rings, they weren’t the best-a little soggy (gluten and gluten free eaters all agreed), but everything else was great! Five people ate lunch for about 100 and we were full. Would definitely eat there again if in the area. ”
“ Absolutely Fantastic — You’d Never Guess It’s 100% Gluten Free! Papa Chops Eatery is a total game changer! It’s 100% gluten free, but you would never know it from the taste. My kids were blown away — they said, “We finally have gluten free pizza where the crust actually looks and tastes like something from a big chain pizza place!” And they’re right — crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and packed with flavor. We also tried the fries and burgers — delicious! Everything was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and clearly made with care. My wife ordered the fried pickles and said they were the best she’s tasted in a long time — crunchy, tangy, and just the right amount of kick. The atmosphere is super friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. Whether you’re gluten free by choice or necessity, this place is well worth the trip. Papa Chops is doing something special — highly recommend! ”
“ Gluten Liberty! The food is good. It is a super bright and cheerful place. - The Cheezy Burg - 16: Only comes cooked to 165oF. The patty was thick and juicy, medium to high quality. I am guessing one-third or half pound in size (probably half pound). I could tell the burger was very professionally made. It said it was juicy and it was. The cheese was melted just right. I am not usually a fan of cheddar on my burger, but this was pretty good. The toppings were a good balance. I asked about the Burg sauce and they reported it was a special blend of ketchup, mustard, and mayo. I have not seen it pre-mixed before, but I thought it was a great idea and it kept the toppings less complicated. The bun was gluten-free. It was probably about one or two notches above what you’d expect from gluten-free. It had the same tastes, but was well thought out to compensate for flavors that are needed. I believe I tasted honey as a sweetener (which is common for gluten-free). Overall, for what it was, it was great! - Fries - (comes with burger): Amazing! A little too much salt, but the flavor combinations were astounding! One thing probably missed by those restricted by gluten-free options is the battered fries. These are a wonderful alternative. The textures are all there and the flavor matches spot on. There are a few other underlying spices that add robust excitement. The pictures I took did not do it justice. There were more fries than what appears in the picture. - Chili (bowl) - 4 (half off for the week): Won second place in a contest that week and was therefore half off for the week. The deal has expired, though. I agree with the judges, it was fantastic! I would gladly pay full price, though the amount you get is a bit small (though it is comparable to many other restaurants). It did have some kick, though. I greatly enjoy spicy food, so this was excellent for me. My wife did mention it was a bit much for her. The blend was spot on. It was not just a kick, it had full flavor, very savory, and not deluded in the least. The meat and bean mix was just right. The cheese was objectively right on (though some may disagree due to preferences). - Mozzarella Stix - 10: My wife ordered these, but I stole a taste. There is a lot of breading to these compared to some other mozzarella sticks. The cheese was very gooey and delicious. They are fairly thick. A little on the pricey side. The menu had a couple of differences than what was on the website. The Mozzarella Stix were 10 and the website had it listed as 9. The Garden Salad has also changed how it is listed. I believe most everything else was the same. - Service: Service was cheerful, kind, and helpful. You order at the counter on the right side of the store and they bring your order in a bag to your table, most of which are on the left side of the store. Kind of odd if you are dining in like we did, but okay. The packaging was environmentally friendly, so I suppose that isn’t all bad. - Atmosphere: Cheerful and bright colors! It is definitely not crammed like some places. The tables are plenty spread out. The floor is concrete, but super clean and smooth (no cracks that I could see). There were children’s colorings on the wall. There were 3-4 booths and a number of tables with chairs. There are 2-3 tables in the ordering area, but most of the seating is in the dining area. - Conclusion: If you are gluten sensitive or celiac, this place is a must visit! Everyone I saw had this posture of freedom from fear and the superhero projection the store portrays is well earned and not just a gimmick. The place is a haven for those who need absolute gluten-free options. The prices are fairly competitive to what is out there. It is still more than regular food, but that is normal. The burger is actually almost the same price for most regular options out there, though. Visited on a Friday at 6pm. ”
“ It's a large selection gluten free menu, and everything we tried was delicious!! The burger was so good, I didn't notice the bun! I so enjoyed the onion rings! It was so nice knowing there was no chance I was going to get sick. My family enjoyed it too, and they don't have a problem with gluten. ”
“ Owner is very friendly and actually cares about the food you eat. Clean establishment. You order at the front and pick up at the front but can still sit down and eat like a dining establishment. Chili was ok but the burgers and fries were very good. ”
“ Really enjoyed my first experience at Papa Chops Eatery! I had the BLT and it did not disappoint. The bacon was cooked to crispy perfection, the tomato and lettuce were fresh, and the bread was delicious! Knowing that everything was made in a safe environment was so comforting. Their staff was very friendly. ”
